There's something amiss at modashop, and it's difficult to discern exactly what has gone wrong. For one thing, modashop is a little WordPress site rather than any professional effort, and for another, it reveals no information about what its business is or why it has a website in the first place, nor is any other entity on the web aware it exists, and it has no relation to the well-known Moda Fabrics company. That excessive mystery flags modashop as some sort of a stealth effort, but exactly what its mission might be requires some investigation. There is no home page-to-related pages structure here, because modashop consists of a linear arrangement of numbered pages, from one to three thousand three hundred ninety-six. That's a great deal of space in which to be doing absolutely nothing, certainly, but nothing is what seems to be happening on modashop, and it's very puzzling indeed. The very first item on the first page of the modashop site is a silly article entitled "Designer Dresses for All Personalities," featuring almost random content, with a list of links related to fashion or clothing beneath.
Clicking one of the links ("ck dress") leads to a page of items that carry the "ck dress" tag on the site, including a necklace, a "satin" dress made of polymers, a handbag, a pair of shoes, and other irrelevant products, none of which seem to have anything to do with the letters "ck," or even with dresses, for that matter. The copy that describes each item on modashop looks like it belongs in a manufacturer's or possibly a buyer's catalogue, although it could pass for retail sales text, but there is no suggestion that any of these items can be purchased. So is modashop being paid to post these photos (some of which do not appear) with accompanying descriptions? That's one possibility, but it's obvious no one will end up on modashop for any reason, simply because there's nothing of interest that would prompt such a referral, and also plain no one would benefit from increased sales on a non-retail site. Perhaps modashop is a work in progress, but if so it's perhaps thirty days into a five-year effort, by the look of the site.
