Livebait Seafood Bar and Grill serves fresh fish and seafood that is ethically sourced. There are 4 locations of Livebait restaurants in Convent Garden, Leeds, Manchester, and Waterloo. At these locations Livebait gives its customers delicious meals with fresh fish that is delivered daily. A major goal of the Livebait restaurant is to be able to cook fresh fish without impacting the environment. Everyday the restaurant successfully brings fresh fish to their dining tables without using fish sourced in an unethical manner. Livebait supports the fishing policies promoted by the Marine Conservation Society.
The menu at each Livebait location varies. At the Convent Garden location you can begin your dining experience with one of the delicious starters. Tempura vegetables, salt cod fritters, and deep fried Atlantic whitebait are some examples of the mouth-watering starters. After you have ordered your starter you can help yourself to one of the dishes from the main courses menu or from one of the specialized menus. The specialized menus include the shellfish menu, the platter and boards menu, and the grills menu. The shellfish menu has dishes like grilled Nova Scotia lobster that each includes a different type of shellfish. The platters menu has dishes that can be shared among multiple people. The grills menu contains the catch of the day.
The main course menu has the most options to choose from. Examples of the main course dishes are pan fried smoked haddock, octopus and chorizo stew, and Breton chicken.
