The flamingoland site is divided between the "Theme Park and Zoo" site and the "Resort" site. The "Theme Park and Zoo" side of the street is oriented toward children, using cartoon characters representing some undefined species of small mammal to promote the product by looking cheerful and loads of flash animation. Once one kills that very distracting portion of the display, the site offers a range of selections (Rides, Zoo and Conservation, Food and Drink, Buy Tickets) at the top and other options (Tours and Events, Zoo Academy, Adopt an Animal, and a free mobile app). The rides are classic amusement park fare, including a vertical drop ride, roller coasters, and various other mechanical instruments of torture. If you like rides that boast elevated forces of gravity ("forces of up to 5gs") as a selling point, purchase some tickets and tootle off to Yorkshire forthwith, because that is where the attractions are housed. There are also tamer carnival-style rides for those who like to keep their bones and stomachs in place, like the Monorail, haunted house, Ferris wheel, dodgems and so on. If those sound too gentle, take heart: the flamingoland site has four pages of choices in this category, and anyone who cannot find a compatible option obviously doesn't care for amusement parks.

Offering VIP service like this is potentially a double-edged sword: there's nothing more angry and disgruntled than a sweaty mob watching some favored party cut ahead in line. flamingoland is apparently betting the toters of babies will be too burdened to riot. The Flamingo Land business itself is run by not just entertainment professionals, but old hands, founded in 1959 by a local theater mogul. It claims a draw of almost 2 million customers per year, and is ranked in the top 15 theme parks of the Eurozone.
