When Chez Gerard was founded more than 30 years ago, the focus was on steak-frites. They quickly became known as the place to go for the best dish this side of the English Channel.
Although steak frites is still the most popular menu item, Chez Gerard offers diners many other, equally delicious choices.
Chez Gerard prides themselves on providing diners with an outstanding steak dining experience. A wide variety of cuts are available, all farm raised and aged for a minimum of 21 days. Chez Gerard sources beef from 24 individual farms, ensuring consistently excellent quality. The flavor will always be delicious and the meat will always be succulent.
In addition to the many delicious steak offerings on the menu, you will also find pork from Staffordshire and lamb from the Cotswolds, all free-range. The ‘Cou Nu’ chicken comes to Chez Gerard from the Landes region of France. Chez Gerard’s oysters come from the Marennes region. They accept only the finest oysters that are finished at sea for no less than three weeks, providing a unique flavor experience.
If you desire a lighter meal, there are many delicious fish and vegetarian dishes.
Of course, you will need wine to complement such a fabulous meal. Chez Gerard’s wine list features all of the old favorites, guaranteed to pair with a tremendous steak dinner to perfection. In addition, they have an extensive list of New World wines.
